  7. OMG!!!! You have a piggie! No wonder I adore your blog, running thoughts and a peek into your life! Seeing that cute little pig just does it more for me! Specially the way you have included him in your family photots (we do the same thing!)...

    1. I hope it feels better than it looks! $85? They must be kidding! I fondly remember the days (many years ago) when one of the biggest reasons we all loved running so much was that all we needed to buy was a pair of shoes.

    1. Don't fret. Mizuno will come out with an Elixer 10 next year. Then an Elixer 11 the year after that. And so on. I'm so sick and tired of the product lifecycle scam perpetrated by all the shoe companies. My own personal favorite, the Asics Gel Kayano (or should I say the Gel Kayano 20), was recently released for $160 a pair. Look for the Gel Kayano 19 (or last year's version of your own favorite shoe) and save a bundle. In most cases, the changes from year-to-year are mostly cosmetic.

    2. Nope, the Elixir is gone. Replacing it with the Sayonara.
