Champion Bra Giveaway Made Simple

First, thank you so much for your comments regarding the passing of my Granddad. I read every single one.

Recently I got a coupon for a free sport's bra from Champion. I thought maybe one of you could have it. Any style, any size found at Champion USA. I recently had my breasts removed, so I don't need a new bra. I also had all of my toenails extracted. Both boobs and toenails are such an nuisance while running, so why have them?

Okay, I jest – I just wanted to pass this on to one of you because I felt like it. If you did not think I was nice, you should re-think that thought. And, never fear! My boobs are in tact, as are my toenails.

#proof. Do not be jealous of my chipping polish, my long finger-like Morton’s toe, my neck that resembles chicken skin or my stylish cycling jersey.

To enter – all I want to know is:

What would you tell a newborn baby is the most important tip for living a good life? (assuming a newborn could understand what the hell you were saying).

Leave one comment, and that is your entry. If that is too simple, feel free to spin around and do jumping jacks naked while eating a bagel and listening to “Shook Me All Night Long.” It’s up to you. But whatever you do, DO NOT follow my blog, like me on Facebook or breathe a word about this giveaway to anyone else.

I’ll pick a winner on Monday 7/30. Have fun.

  3. Most important tip? Stop and smell the roses. Life is short and goes by very quickly.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Don't worry, yesterday is in the past...tomorrow hasn't happened yet.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Not sure if you're joking about the "newborn" thing, so I'll go ahead and follow the rule (sarcastic or not). Get lots of sleep. Not that I'm an adult, I'm regretting all of those nights I kept my parents awake. I'm convinced it's why I'm so tired now. :)

    ReplyDelete
  6. Because I seem to tell this to friends and family a lot:

Do what you want, it doesn't matter what other people say or think about it.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Love yourself and appreciate what you have.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Make the most of your time with people while they are part of your life.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Live by the "Golden Rule". Treat others as you wish to be treated.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Live it to its' fullest and embrace the mistakes/bad moments as much as you embrace the moments that seem to flow perfectly.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Never give up on yourself. When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place.

& when buying running shoes, buy 1/2 size larger than normal. ;0)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Most important? Be yourself. Do not let others choose your path.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Just take the boob, dangit. After all, breast milk sets the foundation for lots of good stuff. (Says the girl who's baby had a crappy latch and quit nursing after six months. This is just what I would have told him.)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Practice kindness and consideration to yourself and others in everything you do.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Love yourself, be respectful to yourself, your elders and everyone, keep the faith-it's hard to get back, be strong and empathetic, take risks, live your own life, and be happy

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well I'm about to have a newborn, hence the need for a new bra. So I think the most important thing we're focusing on at our house is to be considerate of others and to have an awareness that there are other people in the world

  31. Are you kidding? I would never presume to tell a newborn how to live. They have it figured out: eat regularly, poop regularly, sleep when you feel like it, try something new every day.

Or, be nice to your mom.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Pay attention to nonverbals. They speak volumes. And enjoy pooping in your pants right now, because you will spend the rest of your life preventing that from happening.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Make your life about something bigger than yourself. No matter how hard life seems, count your blessings. Follow your dreams. Smile. Give love freely, without expectation. Believe in miracles.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I would tell the baby: be happy every single moment of your life and always go for greatness! and pay as much attention to what you eat as well as what games you want to play. Because if you do that, you will be able to play for many many years strong and healthy."Let your food be the medicine as your medicine should be your food" ***maybe too deep for a baby...but hey, I repeat that to my son since he was a baby and he is 8 years old and have a pretty good idea of what he has heard his parents talk about all his life; so not only say that to the baby, but repeat it, and repeat it for the rest of his life****

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ok newborn baby for future reference. If you need to poop, stop what you are doing and go poop, otherwise you will fill your shorts and it is not cool to have your shorts filled with poop.

    ReplyDelete

I love champion bras. They are really great for the price. Thanks for having a giveaway.

And the thing I'd tell a newborn baby? Shit happens. You can't plan everything out, but plan to deal with the shit that happens (except the shit that happens in said baby's diapers, cuz mom gets to deal with that).

Also, I love your blog. I only found you a week ago and have already worked my way backwards to Nov. 2011 - and that includes reading most comments. My house is a disaster and my kids run around in their PJs all day thanks to you :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  111. I'm trying to make my comment SUAR friendly- so my answer involved POOP.

To Newborns: Enjoy free pooping- all day every day- right into your diaper, blow it out, poop up your back- soil your crib. Someone else will have to clean you up and your pooped mess. Later in life- you will have to get your lazy buttocks up and poop in the toilet or behind a tree and wipe yourself and clean up after youself. If you will be a mother someday- you will personally clean up dog poop, husband poop, kid poop ....

So poop freely newborn, let it go...and enjoy life.

But in all seriousness, I hope he sees how happy running makes mommy and becomes a runner himself, so that we can share the gift of running together. I see the races you do with your kids and hope to do the same someday!
