Me, My Bike & a Killer Insect (video)

The only reason to watch this video is because at the end a HUGE butterfly was about to attack me. That part is funny.

Leaving for Florida later today, so have a great week!

  2. Ahhhhh hahahahahaha I am about 45 minutes from Newark (we had to move to NJ for a couple years for my hubby's fellowship...1 more year left!!!) and I am totally not offended bc I miss Upstate NY which is where I'm from and Newark is a dive (at least what I've seen of it). Those views are amazing!! I didn't see any boogers and watch out for butterfly's. ;) have a great time in Florida!

  5. Welcome (soon) to Florida! We moved to Orlando for the summer and dang it is HUMID! But it is palatable to run in ... just run before 9am or after 8pm! :)

    Have a GREAT week ...

  7. Haha, that is pretty funny. :) I do agree that you live in a beautiful area and I am definitely jealous. I think I'd be out running for hours a day if I had views like that to keep me going!

    Have a great vacation!

  8. what a cliffhanger! What happened with the butterfly??? Your voice is a lot higher than I imagined it would be in my stalking dreams. I live in FL but I promise to not come find you. And the solution we use down here for undies + humidity is just not wear any. Have a great trip!

  13. As someone who has spent the last 45 years in and around Florida, my advice is to just chuck the underwear. Down here, the nuder you are when you run, the better! :)

  14. NooooO! I want MORE killer butterfly!! That's freakin' hilarious! And I live in BEAUTIFUL Savannah, Georgia and I'm bettin' it would give those scraggly ol' hills of yours a run for their money. lol! Have a great time and FLA, and YES ditch the drawers. :)

  15. Haha, when I was in college and home for summers I used to ride right by there almost daily! I live up in Loveland now and don't get to do as many of those fun Foothills rides, but this makes me wanna throw my bike on the car tomorrow morning and start a ride from my parents' house instead!

  18. Don't you get tired of looking at those mountains all the time? ;) I wish I'd had a video camera on me when a bee flew into my arm during a ride a couple of weeks ago...the ensuing yelping and attempts to flick it off while its stinger was lodged in my arm must have been amusing!

  19. I'm sorry but if I wanted to see flat brown lands I would ride in Texas.....oh wait I do. Sh*t......

Well we don't have killer butterflies in TX.

Hope your trip is going well and you are eating oranges and grapefruit out there.
