Just for Fun

I basically had children so they could entertain me and get me stuff from the fridge.  Here are some funny, yet disturbing letters from kids that are not mine (found HERE):

Almost makes me want to send me kids away somewhere just so I can get letters.

What’s your favorite? Mine is a toss up between the “fart” one and the “p-nus” one. I also loved the “you are fat” surprise.

PS: Thanks, Devon, for sending this on!

  1. Being an elementary teacher, I get some good ones...the best was one calling me a pisass (instead of Prince) in a picture. Just awesome!

  6. freaking laughing out loud and sending this immediately to mother-of-three sister. the one of the girl running away is especially cute, because she's still giving her parents a chance to work things out ("say good bye forever") and she tells them she'll be packing tonight. hilarious!

  9. OMG they're all freakin hilarious. I can't pick a favorite!

  10. Definitely the fart one! Being wrongfully blamed for a fart is a definite reason to leave home.

  11. Of course they aren't from your kids, you'd never give away credit for a fart.

Although I loved them all, like everyone else. The one that made me go, what? Was "My friends hate when I say eggs, so I'm trying to stop". Seriously I'm gonna need some more info on that one...

  13. Haaa. Awesome.

When I was 8 or 9 I spent the summer on my grandmother's ranch and wrote my parents a letter that opened with, "Dear Mom and Dad, I miss you but not very much."

  17. Oh, fabulous. I'm too much of a chicken to have kids myself, but I LOVE that other people do so that I can reap the lolz. Hilarious. :)

  18. Love them all.
Why do they have to grow up into teenagers???

  19. I would have assumed the first one was from one of your kids if I didn't know otherwise.

  20. Haha, amazing! I'm loving the P-nus. I may start spelling it like that in the future. (Who am I kidding? How often do I really write down that word?)

  21. A smack in the privates always hurts but is also always worth a laugh!

  22. Somebody probably should have told you there are far, far, FAR cheaper ways to entertain yourself than by having children. Ways with less emotional investment, and ones that don't involve cleaning up someone else's poop.

But it's too late now, for you. That feeling you have towards them? Being a child free adult, I call it a coping strategy.

  23. Hands down the fart one. "when I dident"

  24. Hilarious. I always wondered why Hallmark didn't make an "i'm sorry I called you a pioece of poo" card. I think my fave is the Christmas card with the p.s. "you are fat". LOL!

  25. Awesome. P-Nus is my favorite but I also want to know why that kids friends hate it when he says eggs.

Unless he's dropping those egg bombs why is eggs such a bad word. I could say eggs all day long and not be bothered by it.

  26. Impossible to choose -- so many, if not all, are HILARIOUS!!!

  27. BAHAHAHAHAH! Best way to start my Friday. Laughing out loud.

The p-nus is pretty great and so is the apology for calling their mom a piece of POO. HAHA!

Kids are hilarious and incredibly blunt. I have had so many kids tell me I have a bug on my neck and I have to correct them and tell them it's a mole. And if you ever have a zit on your face and a kid sees it, they will surely point it out and ask "what is that red thing on your face?" That's always fun.

  28. I just had a laugh-cry over this one this morning. You're kids are a riot eh? Can't wait to have some monsters of my own, after reading those!
