  4. Sexy kitty skirt ;-) Um chafing and crying sounds bad, but I fear I know where you're coming from.

  5. There, you see? That's the difference real fitness makes. That or being a real runner. I did my first half IM much slower than you did yours, and I was bagged for a month after. I'm currently dreaming of breaking 2 hours for a half marathon. Maybe I should try the cheetah skirt...

  7. Wow! I might have muscles like that, but you would never see them under my protective layer of padding.

Seriously, good job! That is a spectacular time, and about 35 minutes faster than my 10K time.

I want to be like you when I grow up.

  10. ouch... was it the stealth chafe that comes out in the shower? The. worst. That would make ME cry, anyway! And yeah, I noticed the legs too... enhanced by cycling for sure!

  29. That is fantastic!! I'm jealous. Living in AL, and it being 100 degrees w/ 90% humidity for 3 months (even BAD for here!), I haven't been able to run much. Ridiculous chaffing is the WORST. That, and losing toenails. My butt chaffed, big time, during my first marathon and a friend gave me "anti-monkey butt powder". I think monkey butt powder and cheetah skirt are a match made in running heaven.
