Because I like men named Ken and quickies, I think I will respond to this personal ad from the paper today (when I have rest days, I do actually have time for the paper and for posting more than once!):
Who can resist that sweet smile? I bet you didn’t know Longmont was so happenin’.
Got to live on the edge, right? I may not fit the age bracket, but the rest is right on. I’m petite, I like coffee. But, darn since I’m not a polygamist I can’t be up for that “long term relationship” thing.
Ever answer a personal ad or do online dating? (Chris K.?)
Just a quickie post,
SUAR
LOL! My husband's name is Ken.
ReplyDeleteI actually did a little online dating in my early 30's before meeting said husband, Ken. They were nice guys and one of them I dated for a couple of months.
Ah, Longmont- lived there a long time. Miss it!!
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Ken!!!!!!!
My husband's name is Ken also! Good man :) definitely a keeper
ReplyDeleteHahahhaha! I did personal ad dating before online dating really existed. Twice. O.M.G. What was I thinking? No quickies OR LTR's for those two guys... yikes...
ReplyDeleteAnd you know what? I'll be that guy wouldn't mind that you are a little younger than his range... especially if it were just for a quickie ;-)
I'm actually marring my online creeper...I mean best friend/fiance in a couple weeks. He travels and all I do is work and workout so it was the perfect way for us to meet. :)
ReplyDeleteMet my husband online! But he surely isn't as suave as this Ken! :)
ReplyDeleteI've done some online dating and keep thinking I'll it another go...when I have time between training..have some interesting stories from the previous time. :)Looks like the success rate is pretty good judging by your comments.
ReplyDeleteThis guy is either a total hoot to be around or creepy as hell. Hard to tell from the pic! :)
ReplyDeleteI married a dude I met on Myspace :) We actually went to neighboring high schools.
ReplyDeleteHmm, so, my DAD's name is Ken, so, it might be a little...odd? to go after someone with the same name. Also, being 5'8", I cannot be considered petite unless I chop off my legs at the feet.
ReplyDeleteMet my husband on buddyup.com for running, many moons ago. He instantly wanted to date and I told him to piss-off, that I was only looking for a running partner. So we ran. We were married 3 months later. And we just celebrated our 10th anniversary. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteDarn! I guess I'm too young for him! Thanks for the laugh!
ReplyDeleteNow that is funny. No beating around the bush for that guy!
ReplyDeleteGotta admire his frankness and his sense of humour. I hope he finds what he's looking for and has a couple of blue pills just in case.
ReplyDeletecall him!! :D
ReplyDeleteLOL That's awesome honesty there! I have never tried it but thinking I need to. Been looking for that mythical cute, single runner for too long with no luck! If anyone knows of one hook a sister up!
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! At least he has the guts to put his face out there in a newspaper instead of just taking a picture of his junk and putting it on craigslist!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this one! I'm putting his number in my phone now for my visit.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha!
ReplyDeleteLove how you called Chris K. out on this one.
ReplyDeleteROFL
I met my husband online, but it was 1994, before online dating. Back then, the internet was orange or green text on a black screen. Now we've been married over 15 years and have 2 kids and email each other from across the room when we don't want them to hear what we're talking about. Yah, it's schmexy, I know.
