Breaking the Barrier

I cannot stop laughing at this video. It is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time. I mean, I could have STARRED in this video for fart’s sake.  Especially the  very last scene.

Do you remember when you “Broke the Barrier” in your relationship? It took Ken and I about six days. It was the best day of our lives outside of our wedding day and our kids’ births.

  1. 10-15 minutes. But we did grow up together in the same rural town. What else it there to do but break barriers?

  3. Yeah not that long. Intestinal troubles make it worse to hold it in than let it out. Man still married me. Helps he can't smell much and doesn't listen well. :-)

  4. HAHAHAHA!
After the 1st baby was born. Although I wish it had been during the pregnancy, because pregnancy does weird things to a body!

  5. HA!!!!! I think "I" didn't break the barrier for 2.5 years. DH is European though so there was no such reciprocity for me. :)

  7. Made it about a month. Allowing the barrier to be broken was the worst thing I have ever allowed in life.

  13. THAT rocks! OMG, I love it. I'd say it was about one month into our relationship. One slipped out of me just as we were falling asleep. I was so embarrassed, and I said, "Oops, sorry." She said, "What?" I said, "I just farted." She said, "Don't be embarrassed!" I said, "But I am" and giggled. She said, "Would it make you feel better if I farted?" I said, "Of course" thinking it was a cute offer. Well, she blasted one on command. I think I have found my true love.

  14. It's been 20 years together, and we still haven't! I admittedly have snuck some silent ones out and blamed it on our dog, or baby poo. I think I have only heard him do it once, and it was an accident..you know, when you sneeze and one slips out, then you "cough" to cover up the sound? lol. We don't use the bathroom in front of each other either.

  21. OMG that was too funny! I'm not sure if the guy I'm on again off again w/ and I have broken the barrier as far as hearing them...but he has a tendency to do the SBD. The only issue is, we usually watch TV w/ my head in his lap. I shoot up gagging and look at him and he's all "I'm sorry I didn't know what to say". It STILL Keeps happening! Just say "sorry, farted, might wanna sit up for a sec" Sheesh

  26. I've been DYING of suspense all frigging day long! I hope you're happy. Because I couldn't watch it at work. There I was, wondering which way it was going to go. And now I'm happy, that was very funny.

I don't remember when we broke the barrier. It's been so long, after all.

  28. Ours was what we now consider our "first date" and it was all me. I didn't feel good at all. I cracked the window in the car. He said, "Uhhh did you fart?" Me: "NO... . . . . .yes" And it was also the first story he told his mother about me. A story we will tell our children someday.

  36. ROFL.....that was awesome. I have been married to my best friend for almost 27 years so i do not remember when it happened....we definitely broke the barrier a LONG time ago.

  37. Ok, that WAS hilarious.
We haven't yet ... except the pretend not to notice ones ... but, we've just begun taking Bikram yoga classes and I have a feeling thrice-a-week practice of "Wind Removing Pose" could change all that..

  40. CAN'T STOP LAUGHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  41. Too funny!!!! Loved everyone's comments as well! I like Lisa are the odd ones I see. I dated my hubby for 2 years and have been married for 16. Doing the math = 18 yrs together and we've only farted in front of each other by accident though he is more outgoing than I. He will let it rip when we run but I understand! Oh, and if I ACCIDENTALLY fart it really isn't a fart it's a fluff!!

  42. OMG I am crying from laughing so hard. It took about 3 months to break the barrier... but my then boyfriend (now husband) was laying in my lap when it happened! Poor guy!
