Things I am grateful for today:
- That wine was invented
- That I bought drinks for the car behind me at Starbucks and they bought drinks for the car behind them.
- That my water faucet is not connected to a fire hydrant in Vegas
- That the overdue fine at the library is only five cents a day. I am an overdue-er big time.
- That tomorrow I am getting the heat in my car fixed
- That hot baths were invented and that I just bought some new Calgon
- That Lucky licks himself so much because one day he will not be here and I will actually miss the licking because I will miss him
- That I sleep and wake up next to my favorite person
- That I talk to my dad and/or mom almost everyday and see my parents as often as I do
- That COSI 101 plays continuous Christmas music
- That the first sound I heard this morning was Sam yelling, “TGIF! TGIF!” just like Katy Perry.
- That Ken has a job and we have an office party to go to. I love office parties.
- That tomorrow I will run.
- That Emma hugged me this afternoon and wouldn’t let go and said, “I am just so thankful.”
Happy Friday. What are you grateful for today? Give me two.
SUAR

1 - Hubby is home after two weeks training!
2 - Spent the evening at a Christmas parade watching local marching bands rock out (hello, talent!) and catching beads from floats. (Yes. On the Gulf Coast every holiday is Mardi Gras!) ;)
I am grateful for the beautiful moon in the sky tonight and for the wonderful man in my life that stood next to me to appreciate it for just that moment.
ReplyDeleteMy 2 hilarious boys, and that I accomplished my longtime dream of running a 1/2 marathon!!!
ReplyDeleteThe list of things I am grateful for stretches on for an eternity, but since you just asked for two...
ReplyDelete1. I'm grateful for where I live: on 5 acres in the country, about 75 yards from my parents who live on their 5 acres. I love being able to walk over and see then whenever I want, get eggs from the chickens, invite them for dinner, take them warm cookies.
2. I'm grateful that I'm not stressing about money this Christmas. While our financial situation is still not great, somehow the money is there to buy my kids what I want, to bake lots of goodies to share with family, maybe even buy myself a new sweater. This time of year is supposed to be full of peace and joy, and this year it is.
Love your list! So glad you're full of peace and joy too! (Wine helps with that.)
Hmmm, only two things. Ok, I got it.
ReplyDeleteI'm most grateful for the health of my family.
I'm also grateful that I can run again and have a bike that loves to be ridden as much as I love to ride it(it's alive you know...really, I swear).
grateful for a great run with my new garmin (thanks mom!)
ReplyDeleteand a great cappuccino with a great friend....
lots of greats there :)
So much happy in this list!
ReplyDeleteI love office parties too. Mine is on the 23rd this year. I'm grateful that it's held on the last day of work so I don't have to face my bosses and co-workers again for 10+ days after I make a fool of myself.
